Aerial Surveys and Telemetry: Forestry flying includes fire patrols, mapping of forest resources and many other forest related tasks. We also fly for federal and provincial fisheries branches. These flights include fish telemetry and monitoring of fishing activities.
Since 1993 Lawrence aviation pilots have been flying biologists to remote locations to study mainly Caribou and Big Horn Sheep. To make flights easier and more cost effective all the telemetry aircraft have an Omni-directional antenna, wings modified for low speed flight and built in antenna switch boxes.
